I am from Houston, Texas. I am currently a senior at The University of Alabama studying Interior Design. I have spent the last 7 semesters learning and expanding my knowledge of design. Here at Alabama my professors have challenged me in just about every way to push what I thought design meant.

This Spring of 2022 is my last semester before I graduate. I will continue to push myself to become the best designer I can be. I enjoy challenges because it pushes you to be uncomfortable, and one of the best things I have learned is a saying from one of my professors. He could continually remind us that “we need to learn how to be comfortable with the uncomfortable”.

This resonated with me in many ways because as designers we are consonantly adapting to our client’s needs. It might not be my specific design style or taste but the project is not for me it is for the client and what they desire for their home.
